The idea to create my own range of comfortable and quality rugs with inspirational designs came from watching and playing (for many hours!!!) with my two children. I found that rugs with an emphasis on comfort as well as design were not readily available in the market. That gave me the desire to develop rugs that are comfortable, but at the same time are fun and able to trigger imaginations.

My first designs were very much inspired by the fairy tales but since then I have developed new designs by listening to what children like. For example I have found that; ‘ My own son, and boys in general, love anything to do with ‘Space’ and ‘Pirates’ and this was the inspiration for the ‘Space Rocket rug’, ‘Pirate Ship and Treasure Map rugs’. I have spent hours on the Space Rocket rug with my son imagining that that we are flying in space, and finding the treasure on the Pirate map or sailing on the Pirate ship. The collection of different designs has steadily increased in order to cover the different interests of children.

Over time I have expanded my range to include beanbags and baby accessories. I have always focused on high quality, comfortable & cozy designs, but have also tried to keep it functional. I have often found these factors are disregarded as many designs only focus on practicality, and therefore often lack comfort.

´As long as my designs can trigger the fantastic imagination of children, and not least the way the designs always brings a smile to everyone’s face, whether a child or an adult, I will be very happy and keep on developing new things….. ‘
